Chelsea girls 8 and under bring home the state championship!
It was supposed to be one of the more stressful moments of 8 year old Chelsea all-star softball player Allie "Speedy"Miller's life. After all, she was standing in the batters box in the final inning of the state championship game against Millbrook with the game tied 7-7. Apparently "Speedy" never got the memo that she was supposed to be nervous. All she did was just rope a line drive to the left field fence to score Chloe "Sunshine" Eidson from second base and bring home Chelsea's first state championship. more...

"Big D" Lays Down Bunt to Win Fall Ball Championship
Dawson "Big D" Ingram was just as shocked as anybody when his dad, Black Dawg head coach David Ingram, gave him the bunt sign when he stepped up to the plate on Sunday in the 9-10 age fall ball championship game against "The Knockahomas." I took my stepdaughter Katie Curran deer hunting for the first time on November 14, 2009. This is the youth hunt weekend the week before opening day of gun season this year. This hunt is on an undisclosed area here in Chelsea. The owners would like to keep it nameless but it is a completely legal hunting area. more...
